ABOUT US

Ile Orilagba is a spiritual community of priests, initiates and devotees under the direction of Baba Faseye Sangobukunmi, centered around the study and propagation of the ancient African esoteric spiritual system of Ifa and orisa spirtuality as a healing and empowerment modality.  Ile Orilagba is from the Yoruba language and means, "House where head is most important."  In this case "ori" represents the head as understood in African Spiritual Anatomy as the seat of consciousness, divinity and destiny in human beings.  Ifa is both the name of the spiritual tradition as well as the deity. At Ile Orilagba, we host various annual spiritual events as well as workshops and offer a wide range of educational and spiritual services.  We are an open and non-judgmental community which accepts members from all walks of life as long as our fundamental principles are respected.

Our spiritual community and temple is under the umbrella of Osarosun Temple, our head temple in Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria, of our most esteemed senior Oluwo Baba Fakayode Faniyi, Agbongbon Awo of Oshogbe and Idin Ileke Ifa temple, the main Ifa temple of of Oshogbo, Oshun State, Nigeria.
